Here is part 1 of my series of short stories about the bunny:
Once upon a time there was a crabby old chicken and a precious, furry bunny. One morning the little bunny woke up with a bad feeling in his stomach. It was Sunday and he knew farmer Phil would be looking for a nice farm animal to roast up for dinner. The little bunny knew he had to set the old chicken up for a bad thing so the chicken would be eaten. So the bunny ran off and nibbled his way into the chicken coop. He climbed up to the other sleeping chickens and brought their eggs over to the older chicken. He cracked the eggs all around the elder chicken. When he heard farmer Phil he ran back through the hole he nibbled in the wall. The unfortunate chicken was blamed for the broken eggs. The cruel farmer hit and threw the blameless chicken on the ground with such force it could have paralyzed the old meager chicken. It was then that he knew he would be eaten that night.
The happy and devious bunny had survived another day with the mean old farmer Phil.
